The Council of Rectors (CRef) of the FNRS, composed of the rectors of the French-speaking Belgian universities, visited CERN on 13 December 2024.

On 27 November 2024, the FNRS organized, in collaboration with FWO and on behalf of Belgium, an official event to mark CERN’s 70th anniversary at the Palais des Académies.

Mid-February 2024, a three-day visit of CERN with 35 teachers and educators from Flanders and the Netherlands was organised by the SSVI.
